Exciting times at one of the North East’s newest plant, construction and agricultural equipment auctions.. Northern Exchange Auctions.
May 2016 saw auctioneer for hire Duncan Brown conduct Northern Exchange Auctions in Berwick Upon Tweed’s first live sale. The event was run on a Saturday morning from 11am through until 7pm with the whole sale being broadcast to online bidders via Bidspotter and i-bidder.
With 100’s of people in attendance and over 500 lots, to say it was a great success would be a massive understatement. The sale started in the morning from the purpose built indoor rostrum surrounded by lots of lovely auction lots. The bidders in attendance looking on at the massive 55″ screen!
After a short break for dinner we took the plant, construction and agricultural equipment auction outdoors into the yard equipped with our wireless PA system and online bidding platform and continued the sale over each and every lot for buyers to see.
Entries varied from pallet trucks and racking, farm quad bikes and trailers to speedboats and even the odd vintage motorcycle thrown in for good measure!
