April saw another crazy month of auctions of various types throughout the UK for freelance auctioneer Duncan Brown.

This month it was a mix of property auctions in areas including Bury, Nottingham, Rotherham, and Durham with the UK’s leading property auction provider IAM Sold and vehicle auctions with Liverpool Motor Auction, one of the North West’s leading independent car auctions then it was down South to Surrey with Barons Auctioneers at Sandown Racecourse, Esher for their Spring Classic car auction.

Property auctions were as popular as ever with a good split of private home buyers and investors alike. Up to 100 properties were offered at each sale with more to come next month so if you’re looking for a new property or just want some of that ‘Homes Under the Hammer’ style auction why not check out their auction calendar here..

Car auction sales at Liverpool Motor Auction were very strong throughout the month thanks to a steady stream of late low mileage part exchanges, nearly ready to retail and proved very popular with the regular trade buyers. It’s showing no sign of slowing down as we head into May either!

Finally, Auctioneer 4 Hire was down in Esher at Sandown Racecourse for the Barons Auctioneers Spring Classic which proved to be a fantastic day. Even the sun came out so it was a great excuse for local enthusiasts to hop into their classic cars and head along to the racecourse for some auction action. The sale room was packed with many registered bidders both in person and also online and the phones.

Highlights of the month included the 1955 Fixed Head Jaguar E type part completed project which sold for £45,650..

Also, the 1964 Morris Mini Cooper which made £42,900.
