February and March brought plenty of variety to the Auctioneer 4 Hire gavel. With property auctions aplenty, up and down the country with the UK’s leading independent property auction house IAM Sold. The stand out sales were held at some of the UK’s leading sports grounds, namely The Molineux Stadium, home of the premier league’s own Wolverhampton Wanderers and up North at the fantastic Emirates Chester Le Street cricket ground, home of Durham County Cricket Club. Our auctioneers were even treated to a warm up cricket match prior to the evenings property auction with a great view over our registration desk. Check out the pics..

In other news, our freelance auctioneers were down near London for the Barons Classic Car Auctioneers opening classic car auction of 2019 – the Classic Winter Warmer sale. As usual, the fantastic Sandown Racecourse venue in Esher was packed to the rafters with classic cars on sale. Our personal favourite on the day was an extremely rare 1980’s Peugeot 309 GTi 1.9 in stunning bright red with a mere 131 miles on the clock (that’s right, 131 miles not 131k miles!!!) and one owner from new.

After an intense bidding war which ended up pitting online bidders against a determined telephone bidder the internet won through in the end and the successful bidder bought themselves a sure future concours winner for £14,520 inc auction fees.
