April 2015 saw Auctioneer 4 Hire, London auctioneer Duncan Brown conduct Authenticated Internet Auctions of London’s latest fine art and antique sale. As a freelance auctioneer it’s amazing how varied the items on sale at auction can be.. none more so special than at this London auction. With 150 magnificent collectibles from around the world it was no great surprise that bidders were in their hundreds from every corner of globe.
Highlighting the April auction sale was a rare set of Russian Orders which attracted international competition that sent the bidding soaring past the pre-sale estimate of £1500-£2000. Eventually reaching an auction price some 40 times the original estimate realising
£67,000.
Property from other collections and estates featured a rare Nelson Memorial Ring selling for double the estimate at £15,000, a small collection of Nelson Patch Boxes selling for £10,000 and a Rock Crystal Jug and Stand for £15,000.
